Dr. Diamond's Metacine

Dr. Diamond's Metacine is a physician-founded skincare brand selling DTC on Shopify. The brand handed Act Second its paid media across Meta and Google with one aggressive mandate: scale revenue, hard and fast. The catch was that the account was already spending heavily, so we had to maintain efficiency while we grew it. Alongside paid, we overhauled the brand's email flows in Klaviyo, rebuilding lifecycle automations so retention could carry more of the load rather than leaning on acquisition alone.

The Challenge

The account had scale, but not efficiency. Meta was spending heavily while returning barely above breakeven, a ROAS in the low 1x range, which meant the aggressive-growth mandate couldn't be answered with more budget. Pushing more spend through a structure that was already inefficient would have multiplied the waste, not the revenue.

The Result

In the first full quarter under management, Meta-driven revenue grew +336% against the pre-engagement baseline, with orders up +243% and ROAS up +49%.

The account got more efficient as it scaled, not less. The momentum held: Google, scaled alongside, ran at 5x ROAS from March to June, up +34% on nearly triple the investment. Average order value climbed in step, proof the added spend was reaching real, high-intent demand rather than discounting its way to volume.
