Act Second LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Media Specialist with a minimum of five years of experience in community management and social media. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our social media efforts, developing and executing advanced strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our community, and drive traffic to our website. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in building and nurturing online communities. The Senior Social Media Specialist will work on multiple projects with Act Second clients, ensuring a consistent and impactful social media presence across various brands.

  • Social Media Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Content Creation: Create, curate, and manage high-quality content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance using advanced analytics tools. Provide regular reports and insights to optimize strategies and achieve KPIs. Prepare and present detailed reports on social media performance, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing, content, and product teams to plan and execute integrated social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure Act Second remains a leader in the industry.
  • Influencer and Partnership Management: Identify, engage, and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to expand our reach and build strategic partnerships.
  • Social Media Advertising: Manage and optimize social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
  • Client Management: Work on multiple projects with Act Second clients, ensuring a consistent and impactful social media presence across various brands. Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality social media strategies tailored to each client's needs.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior members of the social media team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in community management and social media.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Native/Proficiency in English.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, such as Metricool, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content.
  • Experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in the consumer goods industry, and financial industry.
  • Knowledge of Social Media strategies and content marketing.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Experience with video production and editing.
