Act Second LLC is seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Retention Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing retention marketing strategies to increase customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value. This role requires a strong acumen in email, SMS, and affiliate marketing, as well as the ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Retention Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive retention marketing strategies that align with company goals and drive customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Email Marketing: Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and automation. Develop compelling content and optimize email deliverability and performance.
- SMS Marketing: Develop and execute SMS marketing campaigns to engage customers with timely and relevant messages. Monitor and optimize SMS performance metrics to enhance customer engagement.
- Affiliate Marketing: Manage affiliate marketing programs, including recruitment of new affiliates, relationship management, and performance optimization. Track and analyze affiliate performance to maximize ROI.
- Campaign Analysis: Utilize data analytics to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for email, SMS, and affiliate marketing campaigns. Provide regular reports and insights to optimize strategies and achieve KPIs.
- Customer Segmentation: Implement advanced segmentation techniques to target specific customer groups with tailored retention strategies. Use customer data to identify trends and opportunities for personalized marketing.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing for email, SMS, and affiliate campaigns to determine the most effective strategies and tactics. Use test results to inform future campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure retention efforts are aligned with overall business objectives. Drive integrated retention initiatives and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. Use insights to inform retention marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand pain points and areas for improvement. Use this information to enhance retention strategies and improve the overall customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in retention marketing, with a strong focus on email, SMS, and affiliate marketing.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful retention marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo), SMS marketing tools, and affiliate marketing software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, as most of our clients are based in the US.
- Experience in a creative agency or e-commerce environment.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices.
