Act Second LLC is seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Paid Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across various digital platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of digital advertising, and the ability to work collaboratively with our creative and marketing teams. The Paid Media Specialist will report to the Head of Growth and will be responsible for conducting reports and analyses, requiring excellent presentation and data analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Develop, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels.
  • Strategy Implementation: Implement comprehensive paid media strategies that align with company goals and drive measurable results.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools. Provide regular reports and insights to optimize strategies and achieve KPIs.
  • Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Track spending and adjust strategies as needed to stay within budget.
  • Ad Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad creatives, including copy, images, and videos. Ensure all ads are consistent with our brand voice and objectives.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing to identify the most effective ad creatives, targeting options, and bidding strategies. Use test results to inform future campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-performing keywords and optimize ad targeting.
  • Audience Segmentation: Implement advanced audience segmentation techniques to target specific customer groups with tailored ad campaigns.
  • Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and digital advertising best practices. Use insights to inform paid media strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, content, and product teams to ensure paid media efforts are aligned with overall business objectives. Drive integrated marketing initiatives and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct detailed reports and analyses on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to the Head of Growth and senior management. Prepare and deliver presentations on campaign outcomes and future strategies.

Requirements

  • Expert in core paid search and paid social advertising platforms.
  • 2+ years’ experience in managing all dimensions of paid search activity, including: Implementation, Investment and bidding strategies, Management of large media budgets, Daily campaign optimization (including targeting, testing, and analysis), and Performance forecasting, insight & analysis, and reporting. 
  • Excellent numeracy, data handling and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel abilities.
  • Familiarity with paid media management technologies (e.g., Marin, SA360, Kenshoo, etc.)
  • Understanding of tracking and analytics platforms (e.g., GA, etc.).
  • Some experience (preferred) in managing another digital channel e.g., Display (planning and buying, RTB, trafficking, reporting).
  • First class written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to manage own deadlines and plan own time effectively.
  • A borderline obsessive attention to detail.
  • A clear and persuasive presenter.
  • Understanding of the wider digital marketing mix (SEO, social media, analytics, and measurement).
  • Professional standard in the use of Google Workspace.
  • Native/Proficiency English level.
